Dr. Praveen Kulkarni is an experienced cardiologist and Director of Interventional Cardiology at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai. With extensive experience in cardiovascular care, he specializes in advanced interventional cardiology procedures, complex coronary interventions, and the management of heart conditions.

Before joining Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital in June 2025, Dr. Kulkarni served as a Consultant in Cardiology at Gleneagles Hospitals, Mumbai, for over 12 years. He has also worked at Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai, and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, gaining valuable expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular diseases.

His clinical expertise includes coronary angioplasty, complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), left main and bifurcation angioplasty, and primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction. He is also experienced in cardiac device implantation, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). His areas of specialization further include mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella, ECMO, and IABP, as well as structural heart interventions like transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and mitral valve procedures.
